AN OPEN LETTER

With a great deal of prayer and heartache, and yes, tears, the Board of Directors of Karitos Christian Arts Association has voted to close the doors and dissolve the corporation. Each one of us has invested heavily in the organization over the years, and this is a decision that was not made lightly.

Karitos began with a question – “What is God doing in the ARTS?” We each feel that Karitos has fulfilled its mission. There are Christian arts organizations all over the country, and around the world. Conferences are being held, ministry groups are flourishing, and God is being worshiped and glorified in ways that were difficult to find 26 years ago.

What is the next step? We feel that, as Karitos has blessed you, nurtured you, and invested in you, it’s now your turn to ask the Lord where He wants you to take your fruit – where is YOUR field to sow? Where will YOUR harvest be? We know many of you are well invested in an arts ministry within your field. Perhaps some of you are wondering how God wants to use your gifts. Now is the time for those Karitos seeds to begin sprouting, growing, and feeding others.

We want to say thank you to all the teachers who have brought us such wonderful times of teaching and refreshing over the past years. Thank you, staff, for all the (sometimes grueling) hours you put in to help make each conference a resounding success. Thank you for all of your financial contributions as well. We would not have had the reach or influence we have had without you.

We would especially like to thank all of you who have attended our conferences throughout the years. You have become like family to us. You blessed us beyond words, and we pray God will continue to use your gifts for His kingdom!

We will be creating a gallery of videos and photos on this website soon, so please come back to visit! We also hope to be able to offer items for purchase.

Finally, please pray about how you might be able to help us settle our debt with one final donation (as we have always operated from year to year, and not being able to have an in-person conference in 2020 was a significant financial blow.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us at contact@karitos.org. Any contributions can made through the PayPal donation button below, or be mailed to:
